Por su parte la presidenta ejecutiva de la Fundación Educativa de Prosperidad y Paz, Fepropaz, Ángela María Cristancho, ha compartido que con su propuesta han sensibilizado y capacitado a más de 30.000 personas de 18 países, buscando generar competencias que los transforma ciudadanos ecodigitales, conscientes de la necesidad de construir un desarrollo tecnológico sostenible, lo que les ha valido múltiples reconocimientos.
Además, han comunicado que desde diversos sectores del departamento y la nación han reconocido su labor, siendo así el reconocimiento realizado por parte del Concejo municipal de Buesaco, el cual fue entregado en los últimos días por sus logros ambientales, así como reconocimientos recibidos por parte de la Universidad Autónoma del Cauca y la Alcaldía de Popayán. A nivel nacional el Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible galardonó en dos ocasiones esta iniciativa.
Finalmente han destacado a los promotores ambientales y gestores de paz, quienes con su trabajo han llegado a servir de inspiración y ejemplo de emprendimiento para las nuevas generaciones de nariñenses y colombianos.
